Overview

Konica Minolta is seeking a customer-focused Manager of Billing Services to lead our billing operations and drive excellence in customer experience and retention. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness, while also developing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities

Billing Operations Management

  • Oversee daily billing functions including invoicing, payment processing, account reconciliation, and dispute resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy
  • Customer Retention & Relationship Management
  • Develop and implement customer retention strategies in collaboration with customer service and sales teams.
  • Analyze billing-related customer feedback and trends to proactively address pain points.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex billing issues, ensuring timely and empathetic resolution.

Technology & Reporting

  • Leverage billing software and CRM tools to streamline operations and enhance customer interactions.
  • Generate and present regular reports on billing metrics, customer satisfaction, and retention outcomes.
  • Partner with IT and finance teams to support system upgrades and integrations
  • Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of billing specialists
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to support professional growth
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in billing, revenue cycle, or financial operations, with at least 2 years' experience managing others
  • Proven track record in customer retention, account management, and customer success
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in billing systems and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a related industry preferred
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with organizational goals
