Qualifications
EDUCATION
Master's degree from a program approved by the National League for Nursing or the American Public Health Association with a minimum of one (1) year full-time clinical experience in a home health agency or related community health program which included care of the sick at home. One (1) year full time inpatient psychiatric experience preferable. or A baccalaureate degree in nursing and minimum three (3) years of full-time clinical experience in nursing, at least one (1) of which was in a home health agency or community health program which included care of the sick at home. Minimum one (1) year full time inpatient psychiatric nursing experience.
EXPERIENCE
' Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in behavioral health. Minimum of 3 years managerial experience in a healthcare setting.
LICENSURE
Registered nurse with active valid license in State of Connecticut

Excellent clinical knowledge and skills in both medical surgical and behavioral health. Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Creative and highly motivated problem solver
PHYSICAL DEMAND
The physical demands of this position range from sedentary to light; i.e., constant handling or carrying of 10 pounds or less, walking and carrying at self pace. Handling is performed on a constant basis. Sitting, standing, walking and bending are performed on a frequent basis and carrying is performed on a regular basis. The highest physical demands in this position include the moving, lifting and carrying of files, charts and other documentation, all of which involve handling loads up to 10 pounds on a regular basis; and carrying or moving loads up to 20 pounds are performed on an occasional basis.
