Overview

LMI is seeking a Research Specialist to support our team within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)), Joint Production Accelerator Cell (JPAC). The position will be located at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. This position requires a TS / SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

Attend meetings and engagement with, or on behalf of, the JPAC Executive Director and prepare read-outs, notes, or minutes as appropriate

• Assist in managing incoming JPAC taskings to ensure timely completion and appropriate routing for closure
• Support planning of senior leader trips, site visits, speaking engagements, and event participation
• Develop and deliver briefings and white papers as required to document and provide the results of any analysis performed.
• Perform editing, document formatting, and proofreading.
• Provide assistance with meeting logistics and preparing briefings.
• Respond to internal and external substantive questions and inquiries on assigned tasks and projects.
• Prepare leadership for engagements, to include development of trip books and read-aheads, and drafting read-outs, as appropriate
• Coordinate inputs to, and packaging of, read-ahead materials - ensuring coordination with necessary stakeholders
• Maintain a list of engagement requests, prepare each for leadership decision, and lead RSVP and scheduling, as appropriate
• Execute additional duties as assigned in support of day-to-day JPAC operations

Qualifications

Target Salary Range - $110,000 - $120,000
