Schedule : Full-time | 40 hours per week
Experience Level : Experienced MRI Technologist
Our client is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join their team in Houston, TX . In this role, you’ll perform advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures that help radiologists detect abnormalities, diagnose conditions, and provide life-changing care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality MRI procedures and ensure accurate, safe imaging results.
Prepare and position patients for MRI exams; explain procedures and administer contrast when necessary.
Maintain and monitor patient data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Conduct quality assurance checks on MRI equipment and assist with accreditation processes (ACR and others).
Identify and report any incidents, equipment malfunctions, or patient concerns promptly.
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency cases.
Adhere to all safety, quality, and operational standards within hospital policies.
Support department goals, mentor junior staff, and pursue ongoing professional development.
Requirements
Education :
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
Licenses & Certifications :
Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS / ALS) – Required
One of the following MRI credentials :
ARRT (MR) – Registered MRI Technologist, or
ARMRIT – Registered MRI Technologist
Experience / Skills :
Prior experience performing MRI scans in a clinical or hospital setting.
Ability to safely lift and maneuver patients as part of the imaging process.
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
