With our expanding projects and contracts, we are looking for a seasoned Estimator III to join our Engineering & Architecture team, focused on offering effective cost solutions and enhancing project planning and delivery. Develop detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications, and identifying risk items for project success. Prepare comprehensive reports and project timelines and present these findings to management to facilitate more informed decisions. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather detailed information necessary for accurate job assessments. Employ specialized software and methodologies to ensure accuracy and competitive edge in bids and proposals. Support contract negotiations with insightful financial data and projections. Stay updated on industry trends and cost drivers to inform estimate adjustments and proposals. Proficiency in estimating software such as CostX, Bluebeam Revu, or similar. Ability to interpret and understand engineering and architectural drawings and specifications. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey cost estimations to stakeholders. Knowledge of maritime engineering and operational requirements.
