Medical Office Assistant

TEKsystems' client is currently hiring for multiple Medical Office Assistants in the Baltimore area.

• Applicants must have :
• At least 1+ years working in a Medical Practice as either a Medical Office Assistant / Medical Secretary or Medical Assistant.
• Applicants must be familiar with EPIC and have excellent customer service skills.
• Duties :
• Greet and check in patients, verify demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals using EMR systems (EPIC preferred).
• Collect and process co-pays, obtain and scan required documents.
• Answer and triage incoming phone calls, route messages appropriately.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BALTIMORE, MD.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00 / hr.
