We are seeking a skilled Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Washington State , in a location near Garfield. This is an excellent chance to work with a dedicated team in a dynamic setting, providing both inpatient and outpatient care. Position Details Start Date : ASAP End Date : Ongoing Schedule : 7-day inpatient blocks, one week per month. Shifts run from Thursday 7 AM to Wednesday 5 PM . Night call responsibilities will vary. Patient Load : Approximately 18 patients per shift. Setting : Both outpatient and inpatient cardiology practice. Requirements Board Certification : Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology. Certifications : ACLS and BLS are required. Licensure : Active Washington State medical license (WA only). Credentialing Timeframe : Estimated 30 days. Must be eligible for hospital / surgery center privileges. Clinical Skills Needed Core Skills : Non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), ICU care, and outpatient / inpatient cardiology. Preferred Skills : PA catheter placement and diagnostic cardiac catheterization. Not Required : Interventional cardiology procedures or electrophysiology. Facility Highlights EMR System : Epic.
