Network Engineer Job at Prolim in Sparks

Responsibilities:

1. Network Administration: Design and manage WAN/LAN, enterprise wireless, cloud (Azure), SD-WAN, and firewall infrastructure (Cisco/Palo Alto).
2. Troubleshooting & Support: Handle Level 3 network issues, perform callbacks, and ensure effective resolutions.
3. Network Optimization: Analyse performance, suggest improvements, and recommend infrastructure enhancements.
4. Tool & Process Enhancements: Improve monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Panorama, Prime, Cisco DNA, Infoblox) and refine troubleshooting workflows.
5. Hardware & Software Management: Oversee new/existing equipment and upgrades.
6. Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Assist Level 1/2 resources and contribute to network support objectives.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco routing/switching, Meraki Wireless, Cisco ACI, Palo Alto Firewalls.
2. Deep understanding of network protocols (OSPF, BGP, iWAN, MPLS).
3. Working knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL Change Management.
4. Proven ability in network troubleshooting (L3 level) and firewall/security administration.
5. Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable.
6. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; able to communicate complex technical issues clearly.
7. Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and adapt to shifting priorities.
