Job Description
The Lot Attendant is a vital employee, they assist customers and personnel in ensuring the customer is taken care of from start to finish. This is a fast-paced position in a busy service environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Devotion to ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Determine management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening.
• Maintain a follow-up system that encourages follow through with assigned projects.
• Establish personal performance goals that are consistent with company standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
• Understand the terminology of the business and keep abreast of technology changes in products and services.
• Know and understand the federal, state, and local requirements which govern the company’s business.
• Follow directions from supervisors.
• Understand and follow company rules and procedures.
• Maintain honest and accurate time-card keeping.
• Work together with department managers to establish and maintain an effective and proficient service department with excellent customer satisfaction.
• Be available to aid coworkers as appropriate if they have having trouble completing service work.
• Adhere to procedures for timely and proficient dealing of warranty items such as correct storage and labeling.
• Become familiar and proficient with all phases of the computer software needed for parts and service management, developing, and maintaining the skills required.
• Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale.
• Uphold the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule when required.
• Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment.
• Vacuum interior and wash exterior of vehicles.
• Keep vehicles on lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service or sales consultant.
• Maintains building and grounds as needed.
• Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed.
Qualifications
• Valid driver's license, with clean driving record.
• Customer service skills.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Communication skills.
• Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.
• May need to life over 45 lbs.
