Main ingredients of the job :

As a US FOODS Backhaul Driver you will be operating a tractor-trailer traveling over the road, across the country to 3-7 vendors and US FOODS distribution centers throughout the week to pick up and drop off bulk products. Our Backhaul Drivers will be driving 1800 to 3400 miles per week focused on safety. Your efforts are the foundation that defines US FOODS success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.

Schedule : Must be willing to travel 5 days per week! Leave out on Sunday's return home on Thursdays.

Our Backhaul Drivers strive for integrity and reliability while building trusting relationships with customers. Compensation depends on relevant experience and / or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is $25.65 / hr plus component pay. $51.76 per trip, $0.6259 cents per mile, $6.87 drop and hook, plus time and one half for all hours worked over 40 hours in a workweek.
