Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide comprehensive support to K-12 students in a school setting located in Jobstown, NJ. This role is designed to cover a maternity leave from April through November, offering an excellent opportunity to apply pediatric and school-based speech therapy skills within an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students across all grade levels K-12.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for compliance and progress tracking.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and provide professional recommendations.

Qualifications :

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school settings.
  • Eligibility or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Strong understanding of educational speech-language pathology practices.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students and staff.
