Job descriptionOperate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment including Cobas, Sysmex, and Stago analyzers. Ensure accuracy and precision in all testing, documenting and reporting results in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. Conduct quality control and instrument calibration procedures to maintain test reliability. Participate in specimen processing, reagent preparation, and inventory management. Support infection control and safety policies in compliance with hospital protocols and state regulations. Collaborate with medical staff and other laboratory personnel to ensure timely and accurate results. Provide cross-coverage for multiple departments as needed and assist in troubleshooting laboratory issues.Qualifications Prior experience with Cobas, Sysmex, Stago, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, and limited Microbiology strongly preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Flexibility to work variable start times (0500 or 1100) and every other weekend.
