- Shift : 3x12 hrs Days | 7A-7P Fri - Sun
- Pay Range : $2000 Weekly Gross
Job Summary
Pride Health is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join one of our top healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures with precision and care, ensuring the highest quality imaging for accurate diagnosis. This position requires strong technical skills, excellent time management, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Candidates must be ARDMS and RVT certified with at least 2 years of professional and travel experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
Roles and Responsibilities
Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including :Pelvic / TransvaginalRenal and Renal DopplersAbdomen and Abdomen Limited1st Trimester PregnancyTesticularCarotidUpper and Lower Extremity VenousConduct procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, and drainages (preferred).Utilize GE ultrasound equipment efficiently and accurately.Review patient histories and prepare for imaging procedures accordingly.Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam process.Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with departmental and hospital policies.Follow all infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to provide the best patient outcomes.Required Certifications
ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) – RequiredRVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) – RequiredBLS (Basic Life Support) – RequiredEducation
Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program .Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field preferred.Skills and Experience
Must Have :
ARDMS and RVT certificationsMinimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound TechnologistMinimum 2 years of travel experience in a hospital or clinical settingPreferred :
Experience performing paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, and drainagesFamiliarity with GE ultrasound systemsSoft Skills :
