Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Assists an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients who may have developmental, physical and emotional impairments or who are recovering from injury. Prepares adaptive equipment used during treatment and supports patient activities. Documents therapeutic activities and details of patients progress.

Education : High School Degree or Equivalent Work Experience : 1 year

Hold an Occupational Therapy Assistant license issued in accordance with the South Carolina Occupational Therapy Practice Act.
