Minimum Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, twist
• Previous material handling or shipping experience preferred
• Must pass fork lift license test and operate when needed.
• No written corrective action in last six months
• No more than six points under Company’s Attendance Control System

Responsibilities : Item

Description

1.

Oversee Shipping Area - Supervise, evaluate, monitor, and direct and report Team Leader and Team Members activity – Coordinate and assign tasks (Monitor overtime and utilize only when needed)

2.

Ensure duties are performed in accordance to standardized work instructions, policies, and company rules

3.

Monitor team activities and shipping area for accuracy, efficiency, task completion, and safety

4.

Ensure all loads are complete for shipment for the day and escalate any concerns to Management

5.

Promote and enforce company policies and safety rules and take corrective action when necessary

6.

Manage change points through 4M and / or additional check points (2-person check)

7.

Promote efficiency and team work between Shipping, Dandori, and Production

8.

Review and maintain work instructions. Develop revisions, updates, training, and implementation of new instructions as required

9.

Lead department kaizen activities and presentations. Continuous improvement of area (cost, efficiency, and accuracy)

10.

Aid in response to customer complaints for shipment errors (Mixed kanban, Mis-label, loading errors, etc.) through investigation, brainstorming, and discussions. Help determine and implement countermeasures

11.

Perform powered industrial equipment training (Fork Truck, Tugger, Scissor / Boom Lifts)

12.

Monitor equipment for necessary maintenance and take appropriate action

13.

Ensure EMS / QMS procedures are followed in performance of job duties

14.

Ensure all shipping duties are completed by end of shift and submit Shift Report (Including Shortages)

15.

Ensure general 5S of work area

16.

Perform other duties as assigned by Management
