Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Engineering Manager 3. This position is based out of Salt Lake City, UT. This position is fully on-site.
What You'll Get to Do :
The Engineering Manager 3 leads a team of engineers in the planning, design, development, and implementation of technical and automated solutions for assigned programs. This role is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of engineering activities, adherence to company policies and procedures, and alignment with program goals and customer requirements.
The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of work experience OR a Master's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of work experience. Experience with problem solving techniques to determine Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA). Experience in disciplines such as Program Management, Engineering, and / or Manufacturing. 3 or more years in a technical and management leadership role. U.S. Citizenship Required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications :
Advanced degree in Engineering or related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of people and technical leadership in automation development. Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering tools. Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or related industries.
Primary Level Salary Range : $146,800.00 - $220,200.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
