P3 – Business Systems Analyst
Business Analysis
- Investigates operational requirements, problems, and opportunities to identify effective business solutions.
- Analyzes stakeholder objectives and identifies system / process improvement options.
- Works iteratively with stakeholders to identify benefits and develop acceptance criteria.
Requirements Definition and Management
Facilitates scoping and business priority setting for projects.Helps develop clear and traceable business requirements; challenges inconsistencies as needed.Obtains formal stakeholder agreement on requirements and manages changes to baselines.Assesses impacts on business requirements from migration scenarios or phased transitions.Consultancy (CNSL)
Understands client requirements, gathers data, performs analysis, and recommends solutions.Facilitates stakeholder collaboration to ensure solutions are understood and effectively leveraged.Addresses client needs and enhances client capability through problem-solving and guidance.Business Process Improvement (BPRE)
Analyzes processes and identifies alternative solutions.Assesses feasibility and helps establish requirements for process changes.Contributes to change program planning and implementation.P4 – Senior Business Systems Analyst
Business Analysis (BUAN)
Leads investigative work to determine business requirements and define effective business processes.Applies modeling tools, standards, and business improvement practices.Prepares business cases that define benefits, solution options, and business risks.Conducts strategy studies, feasibility analysis, and high-level requirements assessments.Requirements Definition and Management (REQM)
Facilitates scoping and priority setting for large or complex initiatives.Selects the most effective methods for representing requirements.Leads requirements elicitation and secures agreement from senior stakeholders.Takes responsibility for scope baselining, scope change evaluation, and impact analysis.Consultancy (CNSL)
Manages the provision of consultancy services and / or a team of consultants.Provides expert-level guidance to clients and supports delivery of complex services.Maintains client relationships, establishes agreements, and manages engagement completion.Business Process Improvement (BPRE)
Evaluates complex business processes and identifies optimized solutions.Assesses financial, technological, cultural, and environmental factors for major change efforts.Establishes client requirements for significant changes to organizational mission, functions, and services.Benefits Management (BENM)
Defines benefit measurement mechanisms and tracks realized benefits throughout the change cycle.Ensures plans, deliverables, and work packages align with intended outcomes.Leads activities required for benefit realization and ensures readiness for operational adoption.Education / Experience / Certificates
Education
P3 & P4 : Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, management, or related field—or equivalent experience.
Experience
P3 – Business Systems Analyst :
Typically five or more years in a related field; experience in relevant lines of business or IT environments preferred.P4 – Senior Business Systems Analyst :
Typically eight or more years in a related field; experience in relevant lines of business or IT environments preferred.Certifications
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) preferred.Minimum Competencies

PGE supports flexible work arrangements; and will have a combination of in-the-office and working offsite. These arrangements may change due to business needs or changes in responsibility.
Compensation Range : $89,175.00 - $178,375.00Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.PGE believes in rewarding dedicated performance.
