The Opportunity

We are now in the third year of our global partnership with The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC), our largest client across WPP and within many of our largest agency networks. We have 5,000 people from our agencies worldwide working across 200 brands in 195 countries across five Categories in nine OUs. The Role

We are seeking a Creative Production Lead to join our world-class creative team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the adaptation of global campaigns into various regional formats, ensuring seamless execution across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for creative problem-solving and a keen eye for ensuring that production standards are upheld in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, managing projects from start to finish, ensuring that client expectations are met, and work is delivered on time and within budget.

In addition to managing adaptations and transcreations, this role will also involve overseeing mechanicals, down-funnel production needs, and ensuring a high level of quality control across SX’s design output, both internally and externally. You will work closely with the Executive Creative Director (ECD) to maintain design integrity across all deliverables. You will be the linchpin between the creative, strategy, and production teams, ensuring flawless adaptations of global creative campaigns. You should thrive in a collaborative environment, be adaptable to change, and provide leadership to junior team members. A high degree of attention to detail, organizational ability, and a client-focused mindset are critical for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Adaptation Leadership : Lead and oversee the adaptation of global & local campaigns across a wide variety of platforms, ensuring they meet market requirements and client objectives.
  • Production Timeline Management : Manage production timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and according to the highest production standards.
  • Cross-Department Coordination : Act as the key point of contact between creative, strategy, production teams, and clients, ensuring smooth coordination of projects and timely execution.
  • Strategy Development : Develop and implement strategies for adapting global campaigns to local markets, ensuring creativity, relevance, and consistency in every adaptation.
  • Collaboration with Teams : Work closely with creative, strategy, and production teams to maintain the quality and consistency of deliverables across all channels.
  • Leadership and Problem Solving : Provide leadership and guidance during stressful moments, ensuring that priorities are communicated clearly and issues are resolved promptly to maintain campaign momentum.
  • Creative and Production Oversight : Oversee the creative and production processes, ensuring necessary approvals and sign-offs are achieved in a timely manner.
  • Budget Management : Develop and manage production budgets for each campaign, identifying areas for cost savings, optimizing resource utilization, and delivering cost-effective solutions.
  • Relationship Building : Foster strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, clients, and external vendors to ensure smooth and successful campaign execution.
  • Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a team of creative professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • AI Implementation Leadership : Champion the integration of AI tools, including WPP Open, into creative workflows to enhance efficiency and innovation.
  • Partnership in AI Fluency : Collaborate with Studio X Creative Leadership to strengthen the team’s understanding and application of AI in TCCC-related work.

Skills and Experience Required

  • 5+ Years of Experience : Minimum of 5 years in production, project management, or related roles within a global agency environment, ideally with experience working on large-scale campaigns for high-profile clients.
  • Cross-Platform Project Management : Proven ability to manage complex projects across multiple media channels (digital, print, TV, social media, etc.).
  • Leadership Skills : Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Creative Content Adaptation : Experience adapting and localizing creative content for global brands, ensuring that local nuances are respected while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Project Management Expertise : Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while ensuring attention to detail.
  • Strong Communication Skills : Ability to effectively communicate with senior management and clients, presenting clear updates and results.
  • Commercial Awareness : Demonstrated understanding of budgets and resource management, with the ability to deliver work profitably.
  • Proficiency in Project Management Tools : High proficiency with project management tools, production planning software, and production processes.
  • Attention to Detail : Meticulous attention to detail to ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality.
  • AI Knowledge & Application : Growing understanding and implementation of AI tools, including WPP Open, WPP’s proprietary AI platform.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Digital & Social Media : Knowledge and experience in managing digital and social media campaigns in addition to traditional media campaigns.
  • Production Technologies and Tools : Familiarity with production technologies, tools, and software (e.g., project management tools, production planning tools).
  • Global Brand Standards : Experience with global brand standards and working across multiple markets and regions to maintain consistency and relevance.
  • Creative Process Expertise : A solid understanding of the creative process and an appreciation for delivering high-quality creative work in a timely manner.
