Summary

Provide maintenance for County buildings through one of the following : preventive maintenance, equipment and machinery repairs, heating and air conditioning, carpentry or painting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan repairs, building or remodeling projects accordingly. Orders needed supplies
• Performs remodeling tasks for County buildings which may include one of the following skill sets being used by the incumbent : painting, carpentry or electrical work
• Repairs and maintains HVAC systems and associated building equipment
• Assist with moving furniture and office equipment
• Sets up furniture in specific configurations for special events
• Performs plumbing repairs
• Assists and supervises the work of contractors and vendors
• Performs all other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

NOTE : You must fill out the work history and education sections of application to show you have years of experience / education as required by hiring department or be disqualified.

THIS POSITION MAY REQUIRE OVERTIME, ROTATING SHIFTS, NIGHTS, EVENINGS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAY WORK.
