POSITION OVERVIEW : We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Mental Health Counselor to join our practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. The role includes carrying a caseload of clients, maintaining clinical documentations, and collaborating with colleagues to support holistic care.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provide individual, couples, and / or family therapy using evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care).

Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with client goals.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

Participate in case consultations, peer supervision, and professional development activities.

Uphold client confidentiality and adhere to professional codes of ethics.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.

Active, unrestricted license in NC (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent). Provisionally licensed clinicians may be considered with appropriate supervision.

Strong clinical skills in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and other goal-oriented therapies.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
