J. Baur Machining is a manufacturing company located in Mars, PA. We have been a leader in precision machining and contract manufacturing for over 40 years. We are family-owned business made up of about 20 amazing employees. We have the newest automated CNC technology and feature 18 CNC machines in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. We love Mazak, Multi-Tasking equipment!

Who Are We Looking For :

This position if for our 2nd shift. Your set schedule would be Monday thru Thursday, 11AM - 10 : 30pm. You will be off work Friday- Sunday. We are looking for an entry to mid-level CNC Machine Operator who understand machining basics such as blueprint reading and the ability to operate basic hand and power tools. We are willing to train and progress an ambitious, self-starter who wants to learn the trade of machining. This is also a great opportunity for any college / trade school student in the process of earning their machining trade certificate. As a Machine Operator, you will have the ability to operate top notch CNC equipment such as Mazak Multi-Tasking Equipment, Mazak Horizontals, and HAAS Verticals. What Your Day May Look Like :

• Take instruction from the CNC Set-Up machinists for running your part.
• Operate manual and CNC machine tools that include loading and unloading material to and from the machine tool work holding.
• Observe material cutting processes.
• Perform tool life management and tool compensation.
• Detect and report defective material, product, and equipment at machine tool.
• Complete parts finishing operation of the product to ensure it conforms to specifications per blueprint.
• Complete machine tool routine maintenance.
• Trouble shooting on machines in this fast-paced environment.

• Perform machine tool routine maintenance.
• 2nd shift : Monday thru Thursday 11am-10 : 30pm (Shift diff payout)

This position's pay is highly regarded to the level of experience that they bring to Baur Machining. Pay is at an hourly rate and will be negotiated based on your experience. Please let us know your salary requirements when applying. Baur offers competitive pay with available overtime. Our hard-working employees typically work 48 hrs / week, but we realize not everyone is looking for overtime. Baur offers Paid holidays and PTO.
