Gastroenterologist (Locum Tenens) Los Alamos, NM $390 / hr

Trusted Talent is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to provide ongoing locum coverage at Los Alamos Medical Center in Los Alamos, New Mexico . This long-term opportunity offers excellent pay, full travel coverage, and a consistent schedule with both clinic and procedural time.

Position Details

Location : Los Alamos Medical Center Los Alamos, NM

Specialty : Gastroenterology

Setting : Inpatient and Outpatient (Clinic, OR, and Call)

Schedule :

Monday Sunday (1 week per month minimum commitment)

Monday & Tuesday : GI procedures (all day)

Wednesday : AM procedures / PM clinic

Thursday & Friday : Clinic (8 : 30 a.m. 5 : 00 p.m., unpaid lunch break)

Call : Monday Sunday night call coverage

Start Date : ASAP

Assignment Type : Ongoing Locum Tenens

EMR Systems : Athena & Meditech

Compensation & Travel

Pay Rate : $390 per hour

Travel & Lodging (Per LifePoint policy) :

Lodging : Up to $300 / night (includes taxes & fees)

Airfare : Up to $800 roundtrip

Rental Car : Up to $75 / day

Mileage : Up to 280 miles roundtrip

Note : Lodging over $150 / night at Scion / SageWest facilities requires prior approval.

All travel expenses above stated caps require written corporate approval .

Requirements

Board Certification in Gastroenterology

Active New Mexico medical license (or ability to obtain)

Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Comfortable with procedures and on-call coverage
