Quick Lube Technician

Location: Oakes Auto Group
Compensation: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour

We’re looking for a Quick Lube Technician to join our growing service team! The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in automotive maintenance and repair, with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. This role is perfect for someone passionate about the automotive industry and looking to grow into a long-term career path within Oakes Auto Group.

• Perform vehicle inspections and test systems to ensure proper operation

• Identify potential issues in systems or components before failure occurs

• Drive vehicles for testing and ensure all fluid levels are properly filled

• Maintain correct tire pressure, clean, and lubricate necessary fittings

• Replace oil filters, drain plugs, and communicate oil levels with teammates

• Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently

• Use power tools, diagnostic equipment, and hand tools to complete repairs

• Strong understanding of automotive systems and maintenance practices

• Solid diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication skills and willingness to continue learning

• Ability to work with electronic diagnostic tools and new technologies

• High School Diploma or GED required

• ASE Certification or Technical Degree preferred

• Minimum one year of experience in a service department

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
