The Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for the position of non-permanent Patient Services Supervisor within the Health Services department, located at Washington Corrections Center (WCC) in Shelton, WA. Under the supervision of the Health Services Manager 3, the Patient Services Supervisor position will perform a key role in providing access to health services care for the incarcerated population at WCC. Under general direction, this position will be responsible to supervise four Patient Services Representatives and one Office Assistant 3 who are providing healthcare related support services to incarcerated patients. This position will direct and coordinate patient care services such as appointments, diagnostic procedures, scheduling surgery, and consultation requests for both on-site healthcare practitioners and off-site medical specialists to include but not limited to mental health, dental care, nursing, imaging, lab, social work, and administrative staff. Washington Corrections Center is our transition center where all those that are being assigned to DOC come to for initial evaluation and are then sent to their designated facilities.

This is a busy facility seeing patients for physicals and transfers. Washington Corrections Center has both inpatient and outpatient clinics that see numerous patients for different health needs and concerns.
