We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Project Accountant with a strong background in the construction industry. This role is integral to the financial health of our company and will require a hands-on approach to managing all aspects of our accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in job cost, job costing, payroll, and construction practices, with proficiency in using Viwpoint by Vista and Excel.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain and manage all financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare and analyze reports on job cost and job costing, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
• Administer payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
• Work closely with project managers to create budgets, track expenses, and forecast future costs.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
• Conduct regular ledger maintenance and reconciliation.
• Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
• Interact with management to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
