DESIGN INTERN

PROGRAM DETAILS:

This is a full-time (36 hours per week), paid internship designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure across multiple areas of the business. Interns will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and gain practical, real-world experience in a professional environment. The program allows interns to explore the retail industry while developing a strong understanding of a multi-channel, direct-to-consumer business. Over the course of the 10-week program, interns will participate in meaningful project work that supports day-to-day business operations. In addition to hands-on learning, the program includes executive meet-and-greets, panel discussions, and professional development opportunities, offering valuable insight into leadership perspectives and potential career paths within the organization.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Design department, gaining exposure to the processes involved in bringing a collection to life.
• Research industry trends and market competitors to suggest ideas for upcoming seasons, including helping to select seasonal colors and prints.
• Learn how to create color/print palettes based on the needs of the seasonal assortment.
• Assist in the creation of product storyboards that capture key design themes.
• Partner with the Merchandising team to understand the product selection and development process.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, with an expected graduation date between May and May
• Pursuing a degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, Graphic Design, or a related creative field
• Eagerness to learn about color/print selection.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
