Lead Data Engineer

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and management of Data Integration Frameworks

Develop and maintain infrastructure systems, including data warehouses and data lakes

Oversee engineering data initiatives and ensure best practices for data auditing and performance

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience

8 years of experience in data engineering and implementing ETL / ELT solutions

Expert knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, NoSQL, or Python

Hands-on experience with large-scale data processing frameworks, particularly Ab Initio and Hadoop

Ability to provide direction and lead technical teams
