Job descriptionResearches, plans, designs, verifies, validates and develops mechanical and / or electromechanical products and systems, such as metals, instruments, controls, plastics, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, resonance, hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Recommends various technology options or approaches for system, processes, facility or program improvements in terms of safety, performance, efficiency or costs. May be responsible for the transfer from R&D to manufacturing.

Location : Lafayette, CO 80026 (Hybrid)
Job Description : Top 3 skills :
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical product development, including knowledge of federal and international regulations, such as FDA QSR, IEC 60601, ISO : 13485, 14971, 62304, and 13485, Medical Device Directive or other regulating agencies is required.
- Experience 3D modeling software, i.e. CREO and / or SolidWorks
- Experience designing and developing mechanical and electromechanical assemblies
- Design skills include an understanding of drafting standards, design progression, GD&T in compliance with ASTM Y14.5, DFSS / DFMA, tolerance analysis and DFMEA methodologies
Education Required : Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Years’ Experience Required : 2
