Pharmacy Technician

Location :   San Francisco, California 94114

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 9 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-growing specialty pharmacy team. In this role, you will support patients receiving specialized and complex therapies, while working closely with pharmacists, prescribers, and patients.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate with patients, prescribers, and colleagues via phone, email, and fax.

Fulfill prescriptions, package medications for shipment, and process copays.

Research financial assistance options for patients.

Complete prescription order entry and refills under pharmacist supervision.

Manage inventory and storage while maintaining accurate documentation (labels, logs, reports).

Participate in on-call rotation as required by business needs.

Qualifications

Required : Active California State Pharmacy Technician License .

Preferred : National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB).

Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience (retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy preferred).

Strong customer service skills (written and verbal).

Proficient with basic computer applications including word processing and spreadsheets.

Education

High School Diploma or GED (required).
