Job Description : Operating Room Registered Nurses are responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care within the surgical environment. You will perform nursing duties at a competent level and in accordance with the standards of practice specific to the surgical area. Your role will involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You are committed to maintaining an environment of caring and concern, emphasizing patient-focused care and exceptional customer service throughout all aspects of your work. What You Bring : Proven experience in perioperative nursing, with a strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced operating room setting. Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff. Strong patient advocacy skills, with a focus on safety, comfort, and confidentiality. Flexibility to accommodate shift variability, including designated late stays when cases run over. Commitment to adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols. Preferred Education & Experience : Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice. Minimum of 2 years of perioperative or operating room nursing experience preferred. Prior experience working in a hospital surgical setting, preferably in a similar facility. Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) is a plus but not required. Certifications & Licenses : Current and active RN License in the state of practice. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
