Shift : Day, 4x10-hour (07 : 00 – 17 : 30)

Schedule : 4x10s, call required (details below)

About the Role

We are seeking a Cath Lab Tech to join a high-volume cardiovascular team in Toms River, NJ. This role involves assisting with cardiac, neuro, and interventional radiology procedures, supporting physicians during complex cases, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures including CAD, PAD, STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiac arrhythmias, and neuro (stroke).
  • Support physicians during cardiac catheterizations and interventional radiology procedures.
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment in the Cath Lab.
  • Monitor patients and respond to emergent situations.
  • Document care accurately and maintain compliance with facility protocols.
  • Participate in call rotation :

    • Every 3rd–4th weekend (STEMI and neuro coverage).

  • 5–6 weeknight shifts per 4-week schedule.
  • Facility may consider modifications to call schedule; discuss during interview.
  • Handle 10–15 cases per day in a fast-paced environment.

    • Requirements

    Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year Cath Lab experience.
  • Cardiac cath lab experience with neuro and interventional radiology preferred.
  • First-time travelers accepted.
  • Locals accepted at the same rate.

    • Licensure

  • NJ license required prior to start (quick process, typically within 2 weeks of applying).

    • Certifications

  • ACLS and BLS required.
  • ARRT required.

    • Additional Notes

  • Facility will consider modified block and block scheduling; discuss further during interview.
