Job Posting : Roofer Supervisor I

Under general supervision, the Roofer Supervisor I supervises a group of roofers engaged in applying roofing material and in patching and repairing roofs. The duties specified include overseeing a team, managing time entry, safety regulations, and equipment operation, among other responsibilities.

The position requires completion of a recognized three and a half (3.5) years (42-month) Roofer apprenticeship program, five (5) years of experience as a journey-level roofer, and possession of a valid California driver license. Desirable qualifications include certifications such as Asbestos Building Inspector, Lead Supervisor, and others.

The selection process will include evaluation of applications in relation to minimum requirements and may include additional screening mechanisms. Prior to appointment, candidates must successfully pass a medical examination.
