Transfer Operations Coordinator
The Transfer Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in advancing Momentum : An MCC and UNO Partnership, a multi-year collaboration between MCC and UNO to create a frictionless, omnidirectional transfer pathway for students. This position supports the Executive Director and leadership team in coordinating operations, ensuring timely communication, tracking progress, and streamlining processes that align with the project's three objectives : building shared pathways with aligned curricula, increasing retention through best practices, and building and deploying systems for collaboration around transfer. The Transfer Operations Coordinator ensures the day-to-day functioning of the initiative runs smoothly and effectively, with a student-centered approach.
This position is a one-year, grant-funded appointment associated with Momentum : An MCC and UNO Partnership. Continuation of the position is contingent upon ongoing grant funding and program needs. Candidates should understand that while the role is vital to advancing the objectives of the grant, it is time-limited and does not carry a guarantee of renewal beyond the designated period.

This position will serve both Metropolitan Community College (MCC) and the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), with payroll and benefits administration provided through UNO. Metropolitan Community College is a comprehensive, full-service public community college supported by the taxpayers of Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy and Washington counties. Its purpose is to provide high quality educational programs and services, primarily in career preparation and general education, to people of all ages and educational backgrounds.
