About The Position
Travel Ultrasound Tech is needed for 12 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in Oregon. Shifts are 12 hours, varied. 36 hours are guaranteed. 2 years of experience is required. Education : Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology school or program. Licensure / Certification : Current applicable state licensure in Radiologic Technologist Diagnostic and national registration in Radiography (ARRT-R) required. BLS / CPR Certification : Personnel providing direct care in patient care and diagnostic areas are required to acquire and maintain BLS / CPR certification. ARDMS eligibility or registration and OMBI licensure is required Experience : Minimum two years previous experience in the appropriate modality field of imaging. Ability to perform Cardiac Ultrasound in addition to ABD / OB / GYN / SP is highly preferred. Works within the day-to-day operations of the Radiology staff in alignment with the mission, values and goals of the organization. Performs the duties of a Radiology Technologist and coordinates work-flow for all modalities, problem solving and adapting staff schedules for volumes of the day. Performs imaging procedures according to physician's orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment in regard to, exposure factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment. This position is responsible for performing nuclear medicine or ultrasound modalities as well as those individuals working and registered in three modalities with ARRT.
