ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

Location : Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare job)

Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : July 14, 2025

End Date : October 13, 2025

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts per week)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Employment Type : Travel Nursing (W2)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990 - $2130

ICU RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York RN license preferred)

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required

Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records (EMR)

Ability to float to Telemetry and / or Med / Surg units as needed (1 : 5 patient ratio on all units)

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic EMR

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Float to Telemetry and Med / Surg units as required, maintaining excellent patient care standards

Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
