Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations across our wellness-focused resort. This leader will execute on an established vision, ensuring consistency, accountability, and excellence across all outlets. The Executive Chef will be responsible for operational oversight, financial performance, and team leadership while maintaining alignment with our wellness-driven culinary philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Accountability (EOS) : Lead, manage, and hold culinary team members accountable to established standards and goals.
- Operational Oversight : Oversee all culinary operations, including Terras (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner), In-Room Dining, Seed Café, and Banquets.
- Menu Execution : Collaborate with our design and wellness teams to execute and evolve wellness-focused menus in line with resort standards.
- Financial & Cost Control : Calculate, analyze, and maintain food cost and labor targets; manage cost controls across food, beverage, inventory, equipment, smallwares, and linen; ensure disciplined purchasing practices that align with budget and brand standards.
- Purchasing & Systems : Understand and execute requisitions and purchase orders (POs); maintain vendor relationships and monitor purchasing compliance.
- Critical Thinking & Problem Solving : Identify operational challenges, implement solutions, and anticipate needs in a dynamic environment.
- Guest Experience : Ensure culinary consistency, quality, and presentation that reflect wellness-driven standards.
Requirements
Proven leadership experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, multi-outlet, or resort setting.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely, effective decisions.Expertise in food costing, inventory systems, labor management, and procurement practices.Demonstrated ability to execute requisitions, purchase orders, and cost control processes.Collaborative mindset with design, wellness, and operational teams.Passion for culinary excellence with a wellness-focused approach.Success Metrics (EOS Scorecard)
