• Shift : 3x12s (6 : 45a 7 : 15p) On-call REQ : 1-2 nights a week Weekend REQ : 1-2 weekend in a six-week period # of ORs : 9 Will this traveler float between service lines (Y / N) Yes Floating Req to Sister Facilities : (Y / N) : Yes, may be required to float between Downtown / Northeast / Kershaw campuses due to census and / or staffing needs. Required / Preferred Years of experience REQ : 1+ years of experience as long as they have lots of general surgery experience. First-timers accepted (Y / N) : Yes National Certs REQ : BLS, NBSTSA. MUSC does NOT accept NCCT Radiation Badge REQ : Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y / N) : Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs Local Radius : 60 miles Locals Accepted : Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions for Client Offers : All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours : Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift Hospital Highlights Type of Facility : Acute Care Hospital Total Staffed Beds : 304 Scrub Color : OR-Hospital Issued Scrubs Charting preferred : Epic Parking Cost : Downtown parking lots require a parking pass which we distribute at badge pickup. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
