Pay Rate : Rate may vary due to local or non-local contracted rates : $90-95 / HR combined Rate of pay. ( Pay packages are a combination of taxable hourly rates, tax freeallowances for travel, housing, and meal allowances ) (Rates are subject to change via client need)

Responsibilities

Prepare patients :  Review patient records, test results, and checklists, and initiate IV lines

Administer medications :  Give medications as needed

Monitor patients :  Document vital signs and assess the patient's condition

Assist with imaging :  Help with procedures that use imaging

Respond to emergencies :  Assist physicians during emergencies and adverse reactions

Educate patients :  Provide information and support before, during, and after procedures

Training and experience

Cath lab nursing is an advanced specialty that requires more than basic nursing qualifications

Traditional programs take at least four years of schooling, and you may also need critical care experience

Healthcare facilities often prefer candidates with significant experience
