Fisher Arnold, a leading multi-disciplined firm including engineers, architects, planners, landscape architects, environmental scientists, surveyors, engineering technicians, CADD technicians, and construction observers, is seeking an Electrical Designer for our Memphis, TN office. The Electrical Designer will develop electrical construction packages and supporting documentation, including single line drawings, motor schematics, equipment and conduit layouts, and interlock details. Responsibilities include performing field walk downs, verifying work prior to design, and leading drawing package reviews. Drawings will be created using AutoCAD.

This role will also involve interfacing with the client's team to support design efforts at a refinery, including locating reference drawings, ensuring packages meet design requirements, and proper submission of final deliverables.

Experience

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a refinery or heavy industrial plant environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work well with multidisciplinary teams.
