Sales Associate

Job Purpose

• Sales Associates are extremely customer service focused individuals that interact with our customers daily, while constantly providing support to the entire bakery. These outgoing employees correspond with customers in person, through social media and over the phone.

Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Associates are cross-trained and encouraged to develop skills across a wide spectrum of bakery activities. Elite customer service is the primary duty, along with other tasks such as :

Working Conditions

Sales Associates are required to work 40 hours per week. The job is comprised of five 8 hour shifts. Sales Associates are required to be able to work the opening shift (6 : 45 a.m. – 3 : 45 p.m.) and the closing shift (9 : 05 a.m. – 6 : 05 p.m.). Saturday work is required. Holidays can affect the set schedule as more preparation is needed for major holidays and / or special events.

Physical Requirements

This job can be physically demanding where employees are required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis, do repetitive tasks and consistently maintain an excellent level of customer service.
