Salary :
CCAR is looking for a full-time Program Manager for the Recovery Coach Emergency Department program.
The Program Manager manages, implements, evaluates, and promotes all aspects of recovery coaching within Connecticut hospitals' emergency departments and other medical settings. Ensures a recovery-focused tone and culture.
The ideal person will be enthusiastic, extremely well organized, and passionate about working closely with people in recovery.

Qualifications :
Recovery Coach Professional (RCP) designation or in process to earn designation.
Experience with the addiction recovery process.
Minimum 3 yrs. experience with program management.
Minimum 3 yrs. experience with staff supervision.
Proficiency in recovery coaching.
Program development and evaluation.
Familiarity with recovery community, services and resources.
Understanding of and ability to maintain appropriate boundaries.
Cross-cultural skills and experience with culturally diverse populations.
Strong customer service ethic.
Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills.
Exceptional computer skills, including database management and data evaluation.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Responsible for all aspects of the Recovery Coach program in the emergency departments and other initiatives.
Maintain and build excellent working relationships with designated hospitals and other initiatives as needed.
Evaluate program for effectiveness and impact; adjust as needed.
Supervision
Support ongoing staff development.
Serve as an effective Recovery Coach when necessary.
Maintains and assures a positive organizational culture.
Outreach to the community to promote the Recovery Coach program.
Collaborate with community-based service providers.
Responsible for data evaluation, data reporting, report writing and record keeping.
Responsible for database management.
Other duties as required.
Some travel required.
