Preferences :

This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment. Interview will consist of : Oral interview questions and work sample. Work samples will be answered using Microsoft Word and Excel.

This position is not eligible for telework. Applicant will be required to work in the Tallahassee Office located at 1801 Hermitage Blvd.

The hiring range for this position is $42,561.57 - $45,000.00. Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle. Minimum Qualifications for this position include the following REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures. Ability to prepare financial statements and reports. Ability to review, analyze, and evaluate financial and operational data. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to independently analyze and use problem-solving techniques. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a team structure. Knowledge of and ability to use Word and Excel applications.
