Salary : $18 per hour / plus bonus

Position Title : Warehouse Associate

Shift : Weekdays 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm, Shifts may vary

Position Overview : The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing various warehouse tasks between our regional warehouses to ensure the efficient operation of our facility. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing warehouse space, and ensuring a safe work environment. As a team player, the Warehouse Associate will collaborate with all departments at Renewal by Andersen of CNY to meet company goals and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform daily warehouse tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and quality assurance of products and materials.
  • Inspect incoming products for defects and damages, ensuring only high-quality items are accepted into inventory.
  • Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items in appropriate areas, maintaining organized storage systems.
  • Organize warehouse space to optimize efficiency while ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment.
  • Check, verify, and fill job orders per material list, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Stage window units for install teams, ensuring timely access to required materials.
  • Tag and label material and units to be staged, maintaining visibility to prevent loss or misplacement.
  • Ensure safe and compliant warehouse operations, including effective use of warehouse equipment.
  • Prioritize workload to ensure timely completion of orders and other warehouse tasks.
  • Authorize and supervise warehouse entry for subcontractors, vendors, and delivery personnel, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, verifying identities, and confirming the loading of approved products / materials as per contracts and work orders.
  • Achieve successful warehouse operations by contributing recommendations and following established policies.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

  • Excellent interpersonal, team building, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company.
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written).

    • Education and Experience Requirements :

  • 1-3 years of previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
  • A valid and clean drivers license
  • Experience handling the full life cycle flow of home improvement product installation / service is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
  • Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.
