Experienced Systems Administrator

Overview

GovCIO is excited to announce an opportunity for an Experienced Systems Administrator with an active Secret clearance. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the US, providing flexibility while being part of our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, including both software and hardware, in varied configurations.
• Document and innovate new methodologies to enhance network / system operations and procedures.
• Collaborate with technical teams and help desks to resolve technical issues, while identifying and reducing recurring problems.
• Plan and facilitate the transition to new technologies for development and production environments.
• Administer and maintain computer networks, ensuring all systems are operational and efficient.
• Implement and monitor network security measures to safeguard data integrity.
• Analyze system performance and plan for future initiatives to enhance performance.
• Ensure maintenance of applicable documentation, including operational instructions.
• Write and modify basic scripts to tackle performance issues and streamline administrative tasks.
• Advise on system improvements, including hardware and software requirements.

Posted Salary Range

The expected salary range for this position is USD $71,150.00 - USD $98,500.00 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
