Our first shift runs from 5 : 30 a.m. to 1 : 30 p.m., and our second shift operates from 1 : 00 p.m. to 9 : 00 p.m. Pay is $18.00 and after successful probationary period, benefits include 100% employer paid health insurance and more.
PRODUCTION HELPER
The Production Helper is an hourly non-supervisory position primarily providing physical labor and assistance to the production batch crew, cartridge crew, and warehouse in a chemical process and warehouse environment. Good communication, teamwork, and the ability to self-regulate one’s own behavior and development is expected. Use of basic hand tools and basic math skills are required. Specific responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) the following :
- Helper will transfer chemicals as needed, being required to handle drums, barrels, sacks and other containers using barrel carts, hand carts, pallet jacks or by hand. Position may require ability to operate a fork truck or other Powered Industrial Vehicles.
- Helper will package product from mixing vessels into drums and pails, label product, and move product to proper area in the warehouse or other storage area as directed.
- Helper will assist in other areas as needed which may include loading and unloading trucks, preparing product for shipment, inventory management, and material disposition.
- Daily housekeeping, which includes sweeping, trash removal, and attentiveness to safety are absolute requirements
- Helpers may have primary responsibilities in one of more areas such as Batch Room or Cartridge Filling.
- Helpers must become familiar with EBS Quality Management System and how it applies to their position.
- Access programs in a Windows environment to print labels and document, fill out forms both manually and from a computer.
