Job Description
An employer is seeking an Automation Engineer for a long term contract opportunity in the Cincinnati, OH area. This Automation engineer will be joining a leader in the medical device industry to develop automated assembly operations for the R&D and I&A departments for handheld products. They will also be required to model and simulate automation tooling and fixturing for prototypes and investigations of component modifications. This cross functional role oversees the design intent for assembly of a new robotic arm being launched to market.

Skills and Requirements
3+ years of automation experience - vision systems, automated robots, cobots, pneumatics
3+ years of modelling and simulation to develop assembly process - programming any robotic motion control (python) would be a plus
1+ year of equipment / component experience within the development side
Automation within medical device, aerospace or automotive industry
Engineering degree
