Patient Care Tech Parttime Day - Progressive Care Unit B2

This unit is located at Thomas Jefferson University Methodist Campus.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Patient Care Tech will provide direct bedside care to patients :

Performs assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of the patient

Maintains appropriate documentation on all assigned patients, including flow sheets

Maintains advanced knowledge and experience with phlebotomy and lab specimen collection including T&S, Blood Cultures

Assists physicians with examinations and tests as needed

Other tasks include respiratory services, and rehabilitation services

To qualify as Patient Care Tech, you must meet the following requirements for consideration :

High School Diploma or equivalent required

One of the following is required : PCT or related certification, Certified nursing assistant (CNA), EMT cert preferred

Minimum of 2 years nursing assistant, PCT or healthcare experience required.

AHA BLS required
