Berlin, New Hampshire : We seek a skilled GENERAL SURGEON on behalf of a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital in picturesque New Hampshire. In this pretty town near the White Mountain National Forest, you will join a productive part-time general surgeon and a per diem team in a typical rural office-based general practice serving patients of all ages.Confident candidates needing J1 or H1b visa support are encouraged to apply. This is an equal opportunity employer.Have a rewarding practice with professional variety that provides an interesting mix of cases including Hernias, GERD, Rectal bleeding, Gallbladder disease, Colon polyps / Colon cancer screening, Hemorrhoids, Sebaceous cyst, Dysphagia, Breast Conditions, Diverticulitis, Skin lesions, etc. You will provide open, laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures (there are no gastroenterologists here). You will have solid support clinically, and from the respected and caring administrative team. Imaging, Lab, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy are all onsite. Your subspecialty clinical interests / expertise are welcome to complement those of the current surgeon and expand services for community patients.Enjoy an excellent work-life balance with a convenient 4 - 4.5 day / week schedule. Your typical volume will be 12 to 18 patients / day. Teaching options are available, with medical students and PA students rotating through the hospital.
