Patient Care Tech - PCT I - PACU

Full Time - Day Shift - 40 hours

Zayed 5 - Cardiac / Vascular / IR Prep / PACU unit has 24 beds. You will provide pre and post-anesthesia care, as well as extended observation for adult interventional cardiology, cardiac, and vascular surgery patients.

Patient Care Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital provide highly skilled and compassionate patient and family-centered care as a contributing member of the health care team. Ongoing education is provided to all Patient Care Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year, you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit, which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development.

Salary Range : Minimum 18.41 / hour - Maximum 27.70 / hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
