About The Position

Job Title : Imaging Technologist

Must-Have : IV skills, Power Injection

Description :

Level 1 Trauma Center.

Level III Perinatal Center.

Teaching Hospital.

Magnet Designation.

Comprehensive Stroke Center.

397 Beds.

3 Beds in General Imaging.

Patient Types include Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Department.

Patient Ratios are 1 : 1.

Comfortable with trauma, stroke, and fast-paced environments.

Charting System includes EPIC, Alaris, and Pyxis.

Support on the Unit includes Receptionist during Dayshift and Hospitalist available after hours.

Weekend rotation is every other weekend.

7 days off can be approved.

No call required.

Scrub color is gray.

Transport and tech aides are available.

Resident radiologist is onsite.

Average of 15 scans per day with variability.

Technologists do not perform their own processing; a third party is utilized.
